Choosing a voice: library, community, favorites and recent

How to find, preview and save voices in Voice Changer and Text to Speech.

The voice picker on the Voice tab works the same way in Voice Changer and Text to Speech. You can search ready-made and community voices, listen to a sample and keep the ones you like in Favorites.

What's in the voice picker

At the top of the picker there are tabs:

★ Favorites: voices you starred.
Recent: voices you used lately.
ElevenLabs: the voice catalog, split into Library and Community.

In Text to Speech, the picker also has My voices, MiniMax, Qwen 3 and OpenAI. Voice Changer works only with the ElevenLabs catalog, so these tabs are hidden there.

Under each voice name you see its gender, accent, age and language when they are known. These labels are in English, so search with English words, for example male, british or young.

Search and preview

Open the ElevenLabs tab and choose Library or Community.
Type in the Search voice... field. Tap ✕ to clear it.
Tap ▶ next to a voice to hear a sample. This also selects the voice. Tap again to stop playback.
Or tap the voice name to select it without playing. The selected voice gets a check mark.

Favorites

Tap ☆ next to a voice to add it to Favorites. The star fills in.
Tap ★ again to remove the voice from Favorites.
The star doesn't change the selected voice, so you can collect voices while you listen to samples.
In Voice Changer, if you have favorites and no voice is selected yet, the picker opens on the Favorites tab with the first of them selected.

Recent

The Recent tab shows the voices you used last. A voice gets there when you start a voice change or generate audio in Text to Speech. This way you can go back to a voice without searching for it again.

ℹ️ Favorites and Recent are shared between Voice Changer and Text to Speech. In Voice Changer, these lists show only library and community voices.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see My voices in Voice Changer?

Voice Changer works only with library and community voices, so your Custom Voices aren't listed there. You can use them in Text to Speech: see Using custom voices in Text to Speech.

What is the difference between Library and Community?

Library is a set of ready-made voices that loads at once. Community is a much larger catalog from other creators: search covers the whole catalog, and Load more shows the next voices.

How do I remove a voice from Favorites?

Tap the ★ next to it. The voice itself stays available in Library or Community.

Why is the Recent tab empty?

The list fills up once you use a voice: start a voice change or generate audio in Text to Speech.
