Long video jobs run on the server: Translate Video dubbing, Video to Text transcription, and Add Captions rendering. If a job takes too long or shows Failed, use the steps below.
If processing takes too long
Open History in the tool and check the status.
Processing means the job is still running. Long videos (over 5 minutes) can take up to 30 minutes for dubbing or captions.
Queued for more than 20 minutes may indicate a temporary server backlog.
For Video to Text, transcription usually finishes faster, but long uploads still need time after the file upload completes.
ℹ️ You can close the app after upload finishes. Enable push notifications in Push notifications to get alerted when Video to Text or Translate Video is ready.
If the job failed
Open History and find the failed entry.
Tap Retry. Tokens are not charged again until the retry completes successfully.
Check the source: audible speech, supported format, no password protection.
Try a shorter clip (under 3 minutes) to test whether the file is the problem.
Video to Text stuck on Processing
If Video to Text stays on Processing for a long time:
Wait until upload reaches 100%, then allow a few more minutes for server transcription.
Pull to refresh History or reopen the tool.
If push is enabled, you will get a notification when the transcript is ready even if the screen looks stuck.
See Push notifications not working if you never receive alerts.
