Device clock out of sync

Fix login errors when device time is wrong. Enable automatic date and time.

If sign-in fails with a message that your device clock is out of sync, VocaLingo cannot validate the one-time login code because security tokens depend on correct time.

Exact message

Your device clock is out of sync. Go to Settings → General → Date & Time and enable "Set Automatically".


Fix on iOS

  1. Open the device Settings app.

  2. Go to GeneralDate & Time.

  3. Turn on Set Automatically.

  4. Return to VocaLingo and request a new login code.


Fix on Android

  1. Open SettingsSystemDate & time.

  2. Enable Use network-provided time and time zone.

  3. Retry login in VocaLingo.
