What notifications VocaLingo sends, how to check notification status, and how to enable them if they are turned off.

VocaLingo sends push notifications for practice reminders you set in AI Chat, alerts when a video translation is ready, and other in-app events. This article explains how to enable or check notification status.
What notifications you receive
Practice reminders: reminders you set through AI Chat (for example, "Remind me to study at 8pm")
Video ready: a notification when a long video translation finishes in the background
Chat replies: if you leave the app while a chat message is being processed, you may receive a notification when the reply is ready
Checking notification status
Go to Profile at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Settings.
Tap Notifications.
The status shows: Enabled, Disabled or Not configured.
Enabling notifications
If notifications are disabled, you need to enable them in your device settings:
iOS: Settings → VocaLingo → Notifications → toggle Allow Notifications on.
Android: Settings → Apps → VocaLingo → Notifications → enable.
ℹ️ The app cannot request notification permission a second time if you previously denied it. You must enable it manually in device settings.
