Voice Changer: limits, cost, watermark and errors

Voice Changer works with recordings up to 5 minutes and costs about 12 tokens per minute of the source. Tokens are charged only when the result is ready.

Limits

If a recording is longer, trim it to 5 minutes or split it into parts and change the voice in each part separately.

How much it costs

About 12 tokens per minute of the source, counted by its actual length. A 30-second clip costs about 6 tokens, a 5-minute recording about 60.
Before the first run, the Result tab shows the estimated cost. Running the same source with another voice costs the same, because the price depends only on the length. Each run is charged separately.
Tokens are charged only when the result is ready.
If your balance is lower than the estimate, the app offers to top it up before the file is uploaded. See Not enough tokens.

✅ If the voice change fails, tokens are not charged. You can try again right away.

Watermark on videos

The watermark applies only to videos. Audio results never have one.

Without Premium: a VocaLingo watermark is added to every video. The Add VocaLingo watermark toggle on the Voice tab stays on, and tapping it opens the Premium screen.
With Premium: the toggle is off by default, so videos come out without a watermark. Turn it on if you want to add the watermark yourself.

Common errors and what to do

This video has no sound	The video has no soundtrack, so there is no voice to replace.	Choose a video with speech, or record audio instead.
The recording is longer than 5 minutes. Trim it and try again.	The source is over the 5-minute limit.	Trim the recording or split it into parts.
Could not change the voice. Please try again.	Processing failed. Tokens are not charged.	Tap Try again. If it fails again, choose another voice or another file.
Choose or record a file	You tapped Continue or Change voice before adding a source.	Go to the Source tab and record audio or choose a file.
Please select a voice	No voice is selected.	Open the Voice tab and pick a voice.

When to contact support

Frequently asked questions

Why is there a watermark on my video?

Without Premium, every video gets the VocaLingo watermark. With Premium, the watermark is off by default. Audio results have no watermark.

Will I be charged if the voice change fails?

No. Tokens are charged only for a finished result.

How do I change the voice in a recording longer than 5 minutes?

Split it into parts of up to 5 minutes and change the voice in each part separately. Each part is charged by its own length.

The Record audio button doesn't work. What should I do?

Check that VocaLingo has microphone access in your device or browser settings. Step by step: Microphone or camera access denied.
