VocaLingo has several tools that work well together for language learning. This guide shows practical ways to use the app as part of your learning routine.

Learn vocabulary from real content

  1. Find a YouTube video, podcast or article in the language you are learning.

  2. Transcribe it with Speech to Text or Video to Text.

  3. Open AI Chat, paste the transcript and ask: "Extract all new vocabulary from this text with definitions and example sentences."

  4. Ask for flashcards: "Make flashcards for the 15 most useful new words."

Practice pronunciation

  1. In Text to Speech, paste a phrase or sentence you want to hear pronounced correctly.

  2. Select a native-language voice. Play it and repeat after it.

  3. Use MiniMax HD voices for slow, clear pronunciation that is easier to follow.

Test your comprehension

  1. Listen to an audio clip in the target language.

  2. Use Speech to Text to transcribe it.

  3. Ask AI Chat to create a quiz: "Make a 5-question quiz to test comprehension of this text."

Translate voice messages

When you receive a voice message in a foreign language, share it to VocaLingo and translate it instantly with Translate Audio. See Translate a WhatsApp voice message in 30 seconds for details.

Create a study plan

In AI Chat, ask: "Create a 30-day study plan for B1 level Spanish, 20 minutes per day." Set a reminder: "Remind me to study Spanish every day at 7pm."
