Text Translator can rewrite visible text on a photo: a menu, sign, screenshot or chat. You get a new image with the same layout, in the language you chose.

How to translate a photo

  1. Open Text Translator on web, iOS or Android.

  2. Choose the target language on the right.

  3. Tap Translate photo and pick Camera or Gallery. On iOS and Android you can also share an image into VocaLingo from another app.

  4. Wait for the result. Nano Banana 2 is faster. GPT Image 2 is slower and keeps the original size more faithfully.

💡 The tool paints over the letters on the photo. It does not return a separate text transcript. For a typed translation, paste or dictate the text instead.
