Promo code activation failed

Fix referral errors including device already referred.

If a promo or referral code fails on Profile > Free Tokens, match the on-screen message to the steps below. Referral rewards: 100 tokens for the referrer and 50 for the invited user, separate from the 30 welcome tokens for new accounts.

If activation still fails

  1. Update the app to the latest version on web, iOS or Android.

  2. Sign out and sign in again with the same account.

  3. Pull to refresh your token balance on Profile.

  4. Contact support@vocalingo.app with the exact error text and promo code.

Frequently asked questions

Refresh Profile. If tokens are still missing after 5 minutes, contact support. If you see Not enough tokens on other actions, that is a separate balance issue.

No. One referral activation per account.

Check Free Tokens stats and balance. If the activation count did not increase, your friend may have hit an error above. Ask them to send a screenshot of the message.

Referral reward: 100 tokens for the referrer, 50 for the invited user. Welcome bonus for new accounts is 30 tokens. See Referral program and New user bonus tokens.
