How to restore purchases

Restore App Store or Google Play purchases. Web and YooKassa follow the signed-in account.

If you bought tokens or subscribed to Premium and they are not showing in your account, use the Restore Purchases option to sync your purchases.

When to use Restore Purchases

  • You reinstalled the app and your tokens or Premium are missing

  • You signed in on a new device and your purchases are not visible

  • You completed a payment but the tokens did not appear in your balance

  • You previously had Premium and it is not showing after signing back in

How to restore

  1. Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Scroll down and tap Restore purchases.

  3. The app syncs App Store or Google Play purchases. Web and YooKassa purchases are already tied to your VocaLingo account: sign in and pull to refresh the balance.

  4. If purchases are found, your token balance and Premium status will update automatically.

ℹ️ On iOS, Restore Purchases uses your Apple ID. On Android, it uses your Google Play account. Make sure you are signed in to the same account you used for the original purchase.

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the purchase. If the purchase was made on a different VocaLingo account, it cannot be transferred. Contact support with your receipt and we will look into it.

No. Purchases made through the App Store are tied to your Apple ID, and purchases through Google Play are tied to your Google account. They cannot be transferred between platforms.

No. Restore Purchases only syncs existing purchases — it does not initiate a new payment.

Web subscriptions are tied to your VocaLingo account. Simply sign in and your Premium status will be restored automatically.
