You can attach files to any chat message. The AI reads, analyzes or processes them depending on what you ask.

How to attach files

  1. Open the Chat tab.

  2. Tap the paperclip next to the message field.

  3. Choose Camera, Gallery or File. On iOS and Android you can also share a file into Chat from another app.

  4. Type your message and send.

Limits

  • Up to 5 files per message

  • Max 50 MB per file

  • Images (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC), audio (MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG), video (MP4, MOV, MKV) and documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT and others)

ℹ️ DeepSeek V4 Pro and DeepSeek V4 Flash do not support attachments. If you switch to them, files are removed. Use GPT 5.6, Gemini, Claude or MiniMax M3 for files.
