If VocaLingo shows a "format not supported" or "file too large" error, the file does not meet the requirements for the tool you are using.
Supported formats and size limits
iOS video playback and audio codec
On iPhone and iPad, WKWebView cannot play some video audio tracks (for example Opus or certain legacy codecs). If a video uploads but will not play or process correctly on iOS, the server may transcode the audio track to AAC automatically during optimization.
This affects Video to Text, Translate Video, and Add Captions when you upload from an iOS device. Re-uploading after conversion usually fixes playback and processing errors.
Import from a link (no upload needed)
Instead of downloading a file first, paste a URL in these tools:

How to fix it
Convert the file: use a free online converter if the format is not listed above
Compress the file: Handbrake for video, Audacity for audio
Trim the file: split long recordings into shorter segments
