Video translation is a server-side process that typically takes 5 to 15 minutes. If the job is taking much longer or has failed, follow the steps below.

If translation is taking too long

  1. Open History in the Translate Video tool to check the current status.

  2. If the status is Processing, the job is still running. Longer videos (over 5 minutes) can take up to 30 minutes. Wait and check again.

  3. If the status has been Queued for more than 20 minutes, there may be a server backlog. This is temporary.

ℹ️ You will receive an email notification when the video is ready. You do not need to keep the app open.

If translation failed

  1. Open History and find the failed entry.

  2. Tap Retry. The job is resubmitted and tokens are not charged again until it completes.

  3. If it fails again, check the video: it must have audible speech, no password protection and must be in a supported format (MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, M4V).

  4. Try using a shorter video (under 3 minutes) to confirm whether the file itself is the issue.
