Generate a structured summary from any transcribed video: title, overview, key moments, takeaway and speaker quotes.

After Video to Text transcribes a video, you can generate a structured summary of the content. The summary is created on demand and does not replace the full transcript.
What the summary includes
The Summary tab (Essence) is organized into these parts:
Title: a short descriptive title for the video content.
Summary: an overall overview of what the video covers in plain language.
Key moments: the most important points, decisions or events, listed in order. Switch to the Key tab to read them as a list.
Takeaway: one sentence that captures the main conclusion or message.
Quotes: a carousel of memorable lines from the video. Each quote shows a speaker label (for example, Speaker 1 or a named person) when diarization detected who said it.
How to generate
Open How Video to Text works and transcribe a video.
Once the transcript appears, open the Summary tab.
The summary is generated automatically when you open the tab, or tap Generate / retry if needed.
ℹ️ The summary uses additional tokens and is separate from transcription. If you do not open the Summary tab, no summary tokens are charged.
When to use
You have a long video and need key points without reading the full transcript
You want a shareable overview of a meeting, lecture or presentation
You need to quickly decide whether the video content is relevant
